2. Which scan is right for me?

Early Pregnancy Scan | 6–12 weeks | Confirms pregnancy, heartbeat, due date, and checks for multiples | Heartbeat check, viability, early dating, images |
Reassurance Scan | Any stage (12–40 weeks) | Peace of mind between routine NHS scans | Heartbeat, movements, growth (depending on stage), images |
Gender Scan | From 16 weeks | Determines baby’s sex if you wish to know | Gender confirmation, basic growth check, images |

3. Can I have more than one scan?
Yes. Many parents choose multiple scans throughout pregnancy – for example:
- An Early Scan for peace of mind.
- A Gender Scan at 16 weeks.
- A Growth or Reassurance Scan later in pregnancy.
- A 4D Scan for bonding around 28 weeks.
4. Do these scans replace NHS scans?
No. Our scans are complementary to NHS maternity care. They provide reassurance and additional bonding opportunities but should not be used as a substitute for your NHS routine scans (dating and anomaly scans).
5. Are the scans safe?
Yes. All pregnancy ultrasound scans are safe, non-invasive, and use sound waves; not radiation.
6. How much do scans cost?
Prices vary depending on the type of scan and inclusions, typically starting from £60.
